Ashton
Kutcher
has
reportedly
been
chosen
to
play
Apple
founder
Steve
Jobs
in
an
Indie
movie
called
Jobs.
According
to
Variety.com,
the
film
will
unfold
the
life
of
Jobs
from
his
early
days
as
a
wayward
hippie
to
becoming
one
of
the
most
admired
entrepreneurs
of
our
time.
The
film
will
be
based
on
the
best
selling
biography
of
Jobs
by
Walter
Isaacson
and
will
be
directed
by
Joshua
Michael
Sten,
whose
other
directorial
credits
include
Swing
Vote
(2008).
Jobs
is
not
the
only
biopic
which
attempts
to
chronicle
the
life
of
Steve
Jobs,
Sony
Pictures
has
also
been
developing
untitled
biopic
on
Steve.
The
rival
project
still
has
neither
roped
in
the
lead
actor
nor
the
screenwriter.
Production
for
'Jobs'
will
reportedly
begin
right
away
in
an
effort
to
beat
Sony's
own
Jobs
biopic,
which
will
also
be
based
on
the
bestselling
book
by
Walter
Isaacson.
Kutcher,
who
replaced
Charlie
Sheen
on
the
long-running
television
sitcom
Two
and
a
Half
Men,
is
scheduled
to
shoot
the
movie
during
that
TV
series'
production
hiatus.
Kutcher's
big-screen
credits
include
No
Strings
Attached,
What
Happens
in
Vegas
and
The
Butterfly
Effect.
