Golshifteh Farahani exiled over nude photo

Actress Golshifteh Farahani, who recently caused a stir in the Iranian media, has been exiled from her homeland for posing nude for the French magazine Madame Le Figaro. The 28-year-old Iranian star has revealed that the Iranian authorities have warned her against entering the country after the naked photos hit the net.

Talking to the Daily Telegraph, Golshifteh Faharani, who is currently staying in Paris, has confirmed her exile. The Iranian actress said, “I was told by a ministry of culture and Islamic guide official that Iran does not need any actors or artists. You may offer your artistic services somewhere else."

However, Golshifteh Farahani posed naked with only covering her breasts with hands. Her nude photos were taken as part of an advertising campaign for France's Cesar Academy entitled Revelations 2012: Body and Spirit. She has been bashed by Islamic groups for defacing their culture by showing her 'indecency'.
