Twilight franchise actress Kristen Stewart has been named by Forbes as the highest paid Hollywood actress. According to Forbes, 22-year-old Kristen Stewart earned an approximate $34.5 million (£22m) from May 2011 to May 2012, pushing last year's winner Angelina Jolie to fourth place.
Kristen Stewart, who made most of her money from Twilight, also earned good money from her recent film Snow White and the Huntsman. The other Hollywood actresses who figured in Forbes list of highest paid actresses include Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock in the top slot.
Cameron Diaz was listed second as she made $34 million in the last year, thanks to her recent film Bad Teacher, which was a blockbuster. The film, which was made with a budget of $20 million fetched the makers $216 million. Sandra Bullock came third in the list with $25 million (£16m).
Angelina Jolie, who made millions through movies and endorsement deals fell from the top slot with earnings of $20 million (£13m) to the fourth spot. Charlize Theron comes fifth, raking in a moolah of $18 million (£11m). While Julia Roberts came sixth in the Forbes list with an earning of $16 million, Sarah Jessica Parker came seventh with an earning of $15 million (£9m). Meryl Streep came eighth, while Kristen Wiig figured on the ninth spot in the Forbes list of highest paid heroines. Jennifer Aniston was the last in the Forbes list with an earning of $11 million (£7m).
