Taylor Lautner to star in Grown Ups 2

Hollywood heartthrob, Taylor Lautner is all set to star in a comedy movie. Lautner, reportedly will be joining Adam Sandler in Grown Ups 2, Columbia Pictures' sequel to 2010's Box Office hit.

Since The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will be closing out the franchise and even with the lackluster Box Office response to Lautner’s Abduction, the young star might just hit the jackpot if Grown Ups 2 becomes as successful as the original movie.

The Twilight star has already broken out of his teen fiction mold by playing an action hero in 2011's Abduction. It seems unlike Daniel Radcliffe who is typecast as Harry potter, Lautner isn't going to make the mistake of letting his early breakout role define him. According to reports, Lautner’s character in Grown Ups 2 will be a key role opposite Sandler and company. The sequel is slated to hit the theaters on July 12, 2013.
