Kaya Scodelario rejects Fifty Shades of Grey for nudity

London: Actress Kaya Scodelario says she will not play Anastacia Steele in the film adaptation of bestseller novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey', because she is not comfortable with nudity in front of the camera. The actress, who has worked in TV shows like True Love and Skins in the past, also said her mother does not want her to take the role.

Talking to UK's leading Entertainment website - Female First, Kaya Scodelario said, "I'm not comfortable doing nudity. That's something quite personal." The actress added, "My mother always tells me not to do it and I respect her. Considering what the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' film is about, I wouldn't be able to play Anastacia.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' is a 2011 erotic romance novel written by British author EL James. It is the first instalment in the Fifty Shades trilogy and it traces the deepening relationship between a college graduate Anastasia Steele and a young business magnate Christian Grey. It is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes featuring elements of sexual practices involving bondage/discipline, dominance/submission and sadism/masochism.
