The Evil Dead is horror film of all horror films: Jane Levy
In an interview to the website Female First, Jane Levy said, "I wouldn't call it a good thing, but sometimes I don't really have to act. I'm so tired that I'm crying, I'm so cold I want to go home, really, just like my character. It makes my job easier sometimes, a bit more real." She added, "I could name 10 of the most horrible things that could ever happen to you in your whole life and all of those 10 things happen to this character. It's like the horror film of all horror films."
The actress admitted making the movie was a gruelling process and explained that the physicality involved in her role was particularly tough. Jane Levy said, "The hardest part was actually the dramatic stuff, which was emotional. Then physically, I'm having blood dripped all over my head, I'm wearing my underwear in the freezing rain and barfing on people."
