Angelina Jolie Escapes Car Accident After Unbroken Premiere

Angelina Jolie escaped a car accident while being chauffeured in the rain on Sunday after the premiere of her upcoming movie, Unbroken.

According to a report by X17 Online, 39-year-old was returning home after a screening of Unbroken in Beverly Hills when her hired car skidded in the rain.

The actress turned director was returning home in a chauffeured black SUV when the car tires slipped on the wet road and slid into the curb with extreme force. It popped two tires almost causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

"The car slammed into the curb at a significant speed. Angelina must have wondered if they hit another car. It was pretty bad -- the tire exploded and it's amazing nothing worse happened to the car. I wouldn't be surprised if she has whiplash," reports X17 Online.

This all happened after Angelina Jolie left the Writers' Guild Theater at 6.45pm. After waiting for sometime, Jolie was dropped in another hired car.

Unbroken is creating a lot of Oscar 2015 buzz for the movie is getting good response from the critics as well. Angelina Jolie was worried thinking her directed movie might not do well, but Jolie is also surprised to see the good reviews and the Oscar buzz it is creating.
