Controversial player Lamar Odom is celebrating his birthday today (6th November). Lamar, an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year and won two NBA championships as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, Lamar Odom also made news for his personal life. From DUI arrest to the public separation with wife Khloé Kardashian, Lamar has made a lot of headlines. Thanks more to the reality TV show which kept their private life public.

On the birthday of Lamar Odom, here is a look at his story with Khloé Kardashian.

KoKo has expressed how she felt about Lamar when she first met him. The honest Kardashian sister told on chat show, 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest', "When I first met Lamar I was hosting Ron Artest's Welcome To LA party and Lamar was there and I did not like Lamar, I hated him,...[I was like] this guy was, ‘ugh you're a basketball player, you're typical, you're annoying, I met you at a club,' like everything just on my list-I was like ew, ew, ew!"

Talking about marriage, Khloé revealed it was only a mere, "About twenty days from the stalking to the day he proposed" adding, "then nine days after we were married." In September 2009, Odom married Khloé Kardashian. Their wedding was featured on the E! reality-based series Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Odom appeared in a handful of episodes at KUWTK and the couple later started a new series, titled Khloé & Lamar, which debuted on April 10, 2011.

On December 13, 2013, after months of speculated separation, Khloé Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom. KoKo suffered mini nervous break down which was visible when she was moving out from his house on KUWTK show.

Infidelity is said to be one of the reasons behind their failed marriage. Khloé says that Lamar actually didn't spend her 29th birthday with her. She claims that Lamar cheated on her so she spent her birthday alone and gave half-sister Kendall Jenner her Beyonce concert tickets. Rumours of Lamar cheating on Khloé Kardashian kept doing the rounds but KoKo never accepted it before.

Lamar Odom did much more than breaking her heart. According to KoKo, he broke their marriage vows in the worst possible way. KoKo tried to keep mum just to keep his respect in the family however, when he crossed all limits, Khloé decided to end all the mess and move on.

After separation with Lamar Odom, Khloé found love in French Montana. The couple dated for 7 months before parting ways in September 2014. However, Khloé Kardashian and French Montana have given their relationship another try recently.
