Facts About Annabelle: The Doll In The Horror Movie

After a long time, a good horror movie is releasing. Annabelle is a prequel of the 2013's goosebumps giving The Conjuring. Like The Conjuring, Annabelle is also a Hollywood horror movie which is based on a true story.

Before the movie releases this Friday (3rd Oct), we would like to discuss some interesting facts about Annabelle which you must know. Annabelle, the creepy looking old doll is not fictitious (although in the movie a replica has been created). Annabelle is a real haunted doll!

Annabelle in real is one of the many haunted dolls in the world which is kept away at the haunted Occult Museum in London from the year 1970 by the paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren. The doll has been exorcised several times by a priest who visits the museum regularly, but there is still an attachment of soul to the doll.

For example, did you know the rag doll Annabelle was featured in the book "The Demonologist" and this haunted doll gave popularity to the investigators of the paranormal Ed and Lorraine Warren back in 1970s.

Annabelle was brought in the flat by two medical students, Donna and Angie, as a birthday present. Being pleased with the doll, one of the girls placed it in her bedroom beside her bed. After a few days, the girls saw some paranormal activities as the doll started moving on her own and they even saw blood coming out from it. When the doll became aggressive, the girls eventually contacted the paranormal investigators.

The pigtailed doll is on display at Warren Occult Museum in Moodus, Connecticut after the paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren locked the doll in a glass container to prevent it from moving around. However, the terrible entity attached to the doll is supposed to still be there.
