Grammy Awards 2015 Nominations: Predictions

Today the big announcement is going to be made. The Grammys 2015 is coming closer and today the nominations will be announced at 8:30 a.m. ET. At Billboard.com

So, before the nominations for Grammy Awards 2015 is announced, we decided to predict the biggest nominees of the awards, Album of the year, song of the year, record of the year, best new artist, best music video and best rock album.

While Beyonce, Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj are creating a lot of buzz for the Grammy nominations in several categories, we decided to give brief details on the predictions as to who will be nominated for the several important categories at Grammy Awards 2015.

Album of the Year: Beyonce with her self titled hit album is creating a lot of buzz already. She might even win the Album of the Year Grammy Award in 2015. Other nominations can be Ed Sheeran with his album, X and Jack White with Lazaretto. New artist Sam Smith with In the Lonely Hour can also get nominated in this category.

Song of the Year: Beyonce has been winning awards for her song, 'Pretty Hurts'. So it is possible that she might even win a Grammy for the social message that the diva has given in her song. Even Drunk in Love featuring hubby, rapper Jay Z can be picked. Other nominations John Legend's 'All of Me' and Sia's Chandelier.

Record of the Year: British singer Sam Smith has been making a lot of news and gathering attention with 'Stay With Me'

Best New Artist: Iggy Azalea has been garnering a lot of Grammy buzz for several categories including New Artist of the year. The rapper might even win this year. Sam Smith, Robert Pattinson's girlfriend, FKA Twigs is another new artist who with her debut album, LP1 is giving tough competition.

Best Music Video: Beyonce's 'Pretty Hurts' music video has been a favourite this year so we are sure this will be one of the nominations for best music video. Nicki Minaj's Anaconda can also be picked up keeping the hits and popularity of the infamous butt in mind. Sia's Chandelier featuring 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler is another strong contender.
