British
actress
Keira
Knightley
is
expecting
her
first
child
with
husband
James
Righton,
the
co-vocalist
and
keyboardist
for
London-based
band
Klaxons.
Keira
tied
the
knot
with
James
last
year
and
her
pregnancy
rumours
have
been
doing
the
rounds
for
sometime.
Reportedly,
the
29-year-old
actress
is
more
than
three
months
pregnant.
A
glowing
Knightley
fuelled
rumours
of
a
pregnancy
as
she
stayed
away
from
alcohol
at
a
recent
event.
The
star
appeared
at
her
husband's
side
in
an
embroidered
and
billowy
Rocha
dress,
very
different
from
her
usual
fitted
style.
Pregnancy
rumours
first
emerged
in
November
when
Star
magazine
reported
that
she
and
Righton
were
expecting
and
it
was
a
happy
surprise
for
the
couple.
A
source
said,
"Keira
and
her
stylist
have
been
putting
together
looks
that
hide
her
growing
bump."
Knightley's
role
as
codebreaker
Joan
Clarke
opposite
Benedict
Cumberbatch
in
wartime
drama
'The
Imitation
Game'
has
earned
her
a
nomination
for
the
prestigious
Screen
Actors
Guild
Awards
which
is
seen
as
an
indication
for
the
Oscar
nod.
Keira
is
also
garnering
Oscar
buzz
for
her
performance
in
The
Imitation
Game.
At
the
January
25th
SAG
Awards,
Keira
is
competing
against
Meryl
Streep
("Into
the
Woods"),
Naomi
Watts
("St.
Vincent"),
Emma
Stone
("Birdman")
and
Patricia
Arquette
("Boyhood")
for
outstanding
performance
by
a
female
actor
in
a
supporting
role.
Earlier,
Keira
had
spoken
about
having
kids
and
said
that
she
will
not
give
up
acting
if
she
becomes
a
mother.
Would
I
want
to
be
a
stay-at-home
mother?
No.
On
the
other
hand,
you
should
be
allowed
to
do
that,
as
should
men,
without
being
sneered
at,"
Keira
told
Vogue
magazine
in
2013.
