Kelly Khumalo Barred From Attending Senzo's Funeral!

"The service is open to anyone who wants to come to pay their last respects to Senzo, but that girl (Kelly Khumalo) is not welcome. She mustn't even think about coming," Meyiwa's father, Samuel was quoted as saying to the The New Age.

This is what Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa's father told after his son was shot dead. Meyiwa would be buried in Durban on Saturday. Well, this is a very sad news for Kelly Khumalo as she was not only his girlfriend but also the mother of his child!

It all apparently started after news of Senzo's death spread on twitter and Kelly was blamed for it. It is said that the player died while saving his girlfriend, Kelly. He was shot on the back with the bullet exiting his chest. Meyiwa was pronounced dead on arrival at Botshelong Hospital.

The Police has also opened about the case after investigating it. Gauteng detective unit head Maj-Gen Norman Taioe told reporters in Johannesburg that Meyiwa was shot in his upper body while visiting his girlfriend, singer and actress Kelly Khumalo, in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, on Sunday night.

Two men entered Kelly's house when Senzo and his friends were leaving. "Senzo and his friends were leaving when the two entered the house. One of the attackers bumped into the first friend and a scuffle ensued," Norman Taioe said on Monday.

One shot was fired inside the house, and two more were fired randomly outside. The three fled the scene with a stolen cellphone.

A reward of up R250,000 has been offered for information that could help arrest the two men with golden teeth who apparently shot Senzo.
