Pink Floyd Topping On Charts After 20 Years With The Endless River

Who says that Pink Floyd will not comeback on the top spot? Well the band has made a big comeback after 20 years with their new release The Endless River. The Endless River has become the most pre-ordered album ever on the online website, Amazon.

Although Amazon has not mentioned the exact number of orders, it is clear that The Endless River has beaten hit boyband One Direction's 2013 album Midnight Memories. Other leading albums on Amazon are Swing Both Ways by Robbie Williams, Progress by Take That and Susan Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream, as well as two recent releases by Coldplay, Ghost Stories and X&Y.

The 1970s popular rock band Pink Floyd shot to fame with their 1973 album, Dark Side Of The Moon. There last album was The Division Bell in 1994.

Pink Floyd Topping On Charts Even After 20 Years!

After 20 years of long break, Pink Floyd came back with their 15th album, The Endless River. It only features singer and guitarist Dave Gilmour, 68, and drummer Nick Mason, 70.

Other members of the band namely Bassist Roger Waters, 71 quit about 30 years ago. Founder member late Syd Barrett left the band in 1968 after two albums. Another member Rick Wright passed away in 2008.

After seeing the trending pre-order at Amazon, it is clear that the classic band is giving young talents a run for their money.
