Renee Zellweger surprised rather shocked everyone when she was snapped at ELLE's 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration red carpet in Beverly Hills, California on Monday night.
Renee Zellweger looked unrecognisable when she walked down the red carpet with her boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II, and as soon as she was clicked, her pictures went viral on the web. The Bridget Jones' Diary star actually looked much different and we failed to make out that it is Renne Zellweger only.
After getting viral, Renne Zellweger spoke to PEOPLE. In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, the Oscar winner says she looks different because she is healthier and happier than ever. "I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows," Zellweger, 45, says of the attention she received after an appearance at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards.
Renne Zellweger's new look has not gone down well with her fans as they feel she has got a plastic surgery to hide her wrinkles and this made her lose her original charm.
However, the actress has something else to say. "My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy," Zellweger told PEOPLE. "For a long time I wasn't doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn't allow for taking care of myself. Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things," she added.
