'The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist' To Release In 2016

If you have been missing The Conjuring, then here is some news for all Hollywood horror film lovers. Conjuring 2 is in the making and is going to release in 2016. So, we have to wait for some more time as the project got a little delayed.

Yes, you read it right! 'The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist', the sequel to 2013 horror film of the same name, will now land in cinema halls on June 10, 2016 instead of October 23 next year.

Director James Wan is returning to the director's chair for the sequel with an eye on production next summer. Both Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are expected to reprise their roles as real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren which is good news. The first movie made USD 320 million worldwide on a USD 20 million budget.

The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist will open against Lionsgate's Now You See Me 2 and Sony's Uncharted. Director James Wan is currently in post-production with the action-thriller Furious 7.

The sequel is also based on a rumoured story of Enfield Poltergeist. A single parent Peggy Hodgson who complains of noises after her 2 of the 4 children claimed that furniture was moving and knocking sounds were heard on walls.

So, expect a lot of demonic voices, loud noises, thrown rocks and toys, overturned chairs and levitation of children.
