What To Expect From The Hunger Games Mockingjay-Part 1?

The much awaited The Hunger Games Mockingjay- Part 1 is going to hit theaters on Friday. This is the third installment from the Hunger Games franchise. So what to expect from the third installment, The Hunger Games Mockingjay- Part 1?

If you have read Suzanne Collins' trilogy, then you have some surprise as the third installment from the Hunger Games movie is a little different from the pages we read. The basic story is that Katniss Everdeen aka Jennifer Lawrence leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol. The war will become ugly as it will determine the fate of Panem. In the process, other districts will get destroyed by the Capitol and Katniss must decide for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done.

Another thing to expect in The Hunger Games Mockingjay- Part 1 is a lot of new characters. From Julianne Moore to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, we have some new faces playing important roles in the upcoming movie which is the second last installment from the franchise.

We also get to see stars from The Game of Thrones namely, Natalie Dormer and Gwendoline Christie. Interestingly, we can also expect Gale Hawthorne aka Liam Hemsworth playing some major role in THG Mockingjay- Part 1.

Katniss' Revolution

In the Hunger Games, Katniss is the main centre of attention who comes to know about the secret rebellion and she fights against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol.

New Characters

We have some new faces in the new release. Natalie Dormer and Gwendoline Christie from The Game Of Thrones are playing opponents competing from different districts at the game. Then we have Demi Moore as the President of District 13.

No CGI of Philip Seymour Hoffman

The sudden death of Philip Seymour Hoffman when the Mockingjay was in the production spread rumours of CGI. However, it has been said that the director did not use any CGI for Hoffman's scenes.

Gale Comes To Role

Gale aka Liam Hemsworth who plays love interest of Katniss had no major role in the first two movies from the series. However, he will be playing a big role in the coming one!

While Peeta Plays Small

Peeta has been captured and becomes the brainwashed Captive of President Snow (Donald Sutherland) who is only seen on the projector.
