Worst Hollywood Movies of 2014 So Far
2014 has been a mixed bag for all the Hollywood movie lovers. We had some superhit movies which either ruled at the box office or the hearts of the viewers.Transformers 4, Captain America 2, Rio 2, Amazing Spider Man 2 and Maleficent are some of the highest grossers of 2014. Although Transformers: Age of Extinction is the 19th film to surpass the $1 billion mark and the 12th highest grossing film of all time, it is one of the flop movies which ruled at the box office but got bad reviews.
There were also some unexpected flops in 2014 so far which has left us amazed. For example, Expendables 3 was supposed to gross big at the box office. However, the leak of the movie online a few days before the release disappointed many including the stars.
Some Hollywood movies came and went without getting much noticed as well. For example, Into The Storm's trailer looked interesting but the movie failed to make a mark in the competitive market. Similarly, Blended which brought back Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler on-screen is another worst movie of 2014.

Expendables 3
The movie was leaked online prior to the release which affected its business as well. Moreover, the sequel from the hit franchise failed to create the buzz.
Transformers: Age of Extinction
The Marvel movie did excellent at the box office and is one of the highest grossers of 2014. however, most of the critics feel that it is dragged and the movie was unwanted as the story lacked strength.
Transcendence
The Johnny Depp starrer sci-fi thriller was not that impressive as we expected after watching the trailer.
Hercules
We had a lot of hope from Dwayne Johnson in the sequel of The Legend of Hercules. However, the movie is only worth watching for its visual effects.
Godzilla 2014
Much before Godzilla released, it was said that the movie will bomb at the box office. he reboot of the Godzilla film franchise got an excellent opening at box office with $93.2 million during its U.S. premiere release, and a worldwide estimate of $200 million on its opening weekend (the fourth highest for a 2014 film so far). But the movie was a real disappointment for Godzilla fans.
Robocop
The sequel of hit 1990s series did not have much impact at the box office as well. It lacked the social satire of the 1987 original film.
Into The Storm
The trailer looked promising but the movie failed to make a remarkable mark in the mind of the viewers.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Although the movie did good box office business, critics said, "While the cast is remarkable and first-rate special effects, the latest installment in the saga of Spider-Man suffers from an unfocused narrative and an overabundance of characters. "
Blended
Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are one of the best on-screen couples who make us laugh and cry. However, Blended missed that charm, thanks to the story.
