2014 has been a mixed bag for all the Hollywood movie lovers. We had some superhit movies which either ruled at the box office or the hearts of the viewers.Transformers 4, Captain America 2, Rio 2, Amazing Spider Man 2 and Maleficent are some of the highest grossers of 2014. Although Transformers: Age of Extinction is the 19th film to surpass the $1 billion mark and the 12th highest grossing film of all time, it is one of the flop movies which ruled at the box office but got bad reviews.

There were also some unexpected flops in 2014 so far which has left us amazed. For example, Expendables 3 was supposed to gross big at the box office. However, the leak of the movie online a few days before the release disappointed many including the stars.

Some Hollywood movies came and went without getting much noticed as well. For example, Into The Storm's trailer looked interesting but the movie failed to make a mark in the competitive market. Similarly, Blended which brought back Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler on-screen is another worst movie of 2014.
