'Set
fire
to
the
rain'
artist,
Adele
writes
an
open
letter
to
her
fans
on
Twitter
and
Facebook
that
talks
her
forthcoming
album
'25',which
is
a
sequel
to
her
2011
release
'21'.
The
artist
says
25
is
a
'make-up'
album
unlike
her
other
albums
that
focus
on
break-ups.
Adele's
team
had
remained
mum,
until
the
singer
herself
released
a
song
teaser,
a
30-second
clip
on
a
black
screen
that
was
aired
during
the
X-Factor
UK,
last
week.
Reportedly,
the
album
is
scheduled
to
be
released
on
the
20th
Nov
in
America
via
Columbia.
Her
previous
two
albums,
19
and
21
refer
to
her
age
while
she
was
writing
them.
Following
the
same
tradition
she's
named
her
new
album
25.
Adele's
21
sold
about
30
million
copies
worldwide
and
won
7
Grammys.
The
Grammy
winning
artist
said
that
her
new
album
talks
about
her
making
up
with
the
life,
all
the
choices
she
ever
made
and
the
ones
she
didn't.
Talking
about
her
previous
years
she
said
she
hasn't
had
time
to
stick
to
her
past
or
think
about
it
like
she
used
to
before
she
turned
25.
The
'Rolling
in
the
deep' artist
who
is
27
years
old
now
started
working
on
her
new
album
2
years
ago
and
it's
being
released
5
years
after
her
previous
album.
Danger
Mouse
has
been
working
on
the
album,
and
Max
Martin
has
contributed
a
single.
On
turning
25
she
says,
"Turning
25
is
a
turning
point
for
me,
slap
bang
in
the
middle
of
my
twenties.
Teetering
on
the
edge
of
being
an
old
adolescent
and
a
fully-fledged
adult,
I
made
the
decision
to
go
into
becoming
who
I'm
going
to
be
forever
without
a
removal
van
full
of
my
old
junk."
The
artist
had
already
got
her
fans
super
excited
with
her
teaser
clip
in
which
she
sang,
"Hello,
it's
me,I
was
wondering
if
after
all
these
years
you'd
like
to
meet/To
go
over
everything/They
say
that
time's
supposed
to
heal
you/But
I
ain't
done
much
healing."
Adele
concluded
her
letter
by
apologizing
to
her
fans
for
making
them
wait
.
She
said,
"25
is
about
getting
to
know
who
I've
become
without
realizing.
And
I'm
sorry
it
took
so
long,
but
you
know,
life
happened."
Her
fans
across
the
world
are
already
expressing
their
excitement
for
her
new
release
that's
going
to
touch
them
deep
and
make
them
shed
a
tear
or
two
just
like
all
her
other
songs.
