As it is the birthday of Angelina Jolie, we decided to take a look down at her infamous love story with Brad Pitt. Jolie had been married twice before to Jonny Lee Miller (1996-99) and then Billy Bob Thornton (2000-03).
Then single mother, Angelina Jolie met Brad Pitt on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and love blossomed. She even got involved in a well-publicized Hollywood scandal when she was accused of being the reason for the divorce of Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
In 2005, Jolie explained, "To be intimate with a married man, when my own father cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive. I could not look at myself in the morning if I did that. I wouldn't be attracted to a man who would cheat on his wife."

Although both denied the allegations, the couple still admit that they fell in love on the sets of the film.

Adoption & Pregnancy
Jolie adopted a daughter, six-month-old Zahara Marley, from an orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on July 6, 2005. The same year, Jolie and Pitt also adopted Maddox and Zahara. On March 15, 2007, Jolie adopted a son, three-year-old Pax Thien, from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Jolie gave birth to a son, Knox León, and a daughter, Vivienne Marcheline, on July 12, 2008.

Wedding
After dating for 9 years, Brangelina secretly got married in France on August 23, 2014. Jolie was escorted up the aisle by her eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10. Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, threw petals. Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, were the ring bearers.
Already Married
"Before the wedding in France with the kids, Brad and I were already married in California," Jolie told Italian magazine Io Donna. "One day I said to Brad, 'Let's meet up at 4:30 pm?' "I called a justice of the peace and we signed the documents." So this was just a formal ceremony after 10 years of relationship.
What Jolie Felt About Marriage Before
"We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together," she told in 2006. "We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing."
And Now
"We felt so complete, and the commitment to children is one that you cannot walk away from, so we already had that commitment. It was really that we wanted to re-commit and commit deeper in a way, and we wanted to celebrate that union with our children. As soon as it was all over, we all just changed clothes and hung out. It was just a very happy time. It wasn't this monumental change - we were just very happy and sure, and it's quite an extraordinary feeling to be so sure. It gives you peace," she said post her wedding to Pitt.
