    BAFTA 2015: Winners Prediction

    Before the BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards) 2015 is conducted, we can clearly make a list of the winners predicted on the basis of their current wins.

    It would an interesting weekend as we not only have BAFTA but Grammys as well. On the same day (Feb. 8) we have an evening for both Hollywood stars and singers who will step out for BAFTA and Grammy Awards at different locations.

    As it is the award season, we can predict some of the winners of the biggest categories based on the Golden Globes, Critics' Choice and SAG wins.

    For example, Birdman, Boyhood and The Grand Budapest Hotel are the three big competing movies this award season. All the three movies have been ruling various awards this year. The Grand Budapest is leading this year's BAFTA with the maximum nominations, Best Film, Director and Original Screenplay (Wes Anderson), Original Music, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Costume Design, Makeup and Hair and Sound. Ralph Fiennes is nominated for Leading Actor.

    Coming to Best Actor, Eddie Redmayne has been winning major awards for his performance as Stephen Hawking in the biopic, The Theory of Everything. So the British actor might mark his another big win this season.

    Best Actress is led by Julianne Moore who already has Golden Globe, Critics' Choice and SAG in her kitty.

    Adapted Screenplay of 2015 category has a tough competition. Among the nominees- The Imitation Game (Graham Moore), American Sniper (Jason Hall), Gone Girl (Gillian Flynn), Paddington (Paul King), and The Theory Of Everything (Anthony McCarten); Gone Girl and American Sniper have a greater chance of winning.

However, Eddie Redmayne has been ruling this award season with a Golden Globe and SAG award, the British actor might win a BAFTA as well.

    J.K. Simmons has been winning awards and accolades for his performance in Whiplash. However, we feel the tough fight would be between Simmons and Ethan Hawke (Boyhood).

    Although India's The Lunchbox got a nomination, Two Days, One Night has got recognition at the upcoming Oscars. So, the Belgian-French-Italian drama film has a chance of winning this category.

    Both 'Whiplash' and 'Birdman' have excellent music. From drummers to jazz, we feel both the movies will be against each other and either one will win.

    Interstellar (Paul Franklin, Scott Fisher, Andrew Lockley, Ian Hunter) have the chances of winning this category. Thanks to their sci-fi set and the perfect sound effects.

    Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jack O'Connell, Shailene Woodley, Margot Robbie and Miles Teller are contenders. Either Miles Teller (Whiplash) or British actor Jack O'Connell (Unbroken) will win in this category.

Iñárritu (Birdman) for this big category. Richard Linklater has a major chance of winning this category for his coming-of-age movie, Boyhood.
