BDSM (S&M) Movies: Fifty Shades, Story of O & More...
Fifty Shades of Grey has become one of the most talked about films in the history of Hollywood. Thanks to the strong content and nudity and most importantly, BDSM theme, the upcoming movie has become a sensation.
More than sex, we have romance which has made the movie adaptation from the bestselling novel of the same name by EL James a hot favourite among readers worldwide.
While many people are protesting and trying to make moviegoers boycott the upcoming erotica due to the sexual behaviour and S&M theme, it would be interesting to know that there are many Hollywood movies in the past which had the same theme.
From 'The Story of O' to the 'Secretary', we have seen masochistic men dominating their women on-screen. It is not just Fifty Shades of Grey which has used the bondage as a theme which has been blended with romance and a love story.
However, with the time, it is obvious that new things will be included to make the movie all the more appealing and different. When compared to other movies, Fifty Shades is a phenomena on its own.
We decided to take a look at the other Hollywood movies where we saw BDSM or bondage on the screen.

The movie has become a rage worldwide. The movie shows bondage inside the infamous Red Room of Pain or Pleasure.
The Story of O
The list would be incomplete without this 1975 classic which is an adaptation from a novel by Anne Desclos of the same name. Rene (Udo Kier) kidnaps his lover O (Corinne Cléry) and takes her to the world of bondage.
Secretary
The 2002's sadist movie shows a sadomasochistic relationship between lawyer (James Spader) and his secretary (Maggie Gyllenhaal) where we see lots of spanking and tied hands. Interestingly, James on-screen last name was Grey!
