There are some really inspiring celebrities in the industry who have survived the worst nightmares and have come up stronger and bolder.
Some of the gorgeous Hollywood actresses have revealed their horrible childhood when they had been sexually abused and raped too! However, these very stars have proved that trauma can not break you down, but help you come up stronger and better.
Madonna recently revealed that she was being raped when she was new to the city of New York. Yes, it is the same pop diva who has become a legend with her talent. "First I was in shock, I didn't know a soul," she told Howard Stern when reliving her move to the East Coast. "I was saying 'hi' to people on the streets like a dork. I was going to a dance class and the door was locked and I needed money for the payphone," she explained. "[A man] gave it to me... he was a very friendly guy. I trusted everybody." "I was raped," she proclaimed. "The first year I lived in New York was crazy."
During a candid interview with Howard Stern on his show, Lady Gaga recalled how she was sexually assaulted when she was around 19-years-old, but she only spoke of the incident now because she does not want "to be defined by it." She claimed that she was then raped by a man who was 20 years older than her.

Like every girl, Madonna too came to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a star. She recently revealed on Howard Stern's radio show that she was raped. She later explained Harper's Bazaar that she was dragged up to a rooftop of a building at knifepoint and raped. Determined to make it in New York, Madonna said, "It was hard and it was lonely, and I had to dare myself every day to keep going."
Oprah Winfrey
She is another Hollywood celebrity who has survived rape. She was just 9 when her older cousin raped her. Winfrey revealed on David Letterman show that she suffered several incidents of sexual attack until age 14.
Lady Gaga
During a candid interview with Howard Stern on his show in December, Lady Gaga, recalled how she was sexually assaulted when she was around 19-years-old, but she only spoke of the incident now because she does not want "to be defined by it." She claimed that she was then raped by a man who was 20 years older than her. Gaga said that she did not divulge information about the assault before because she did not want the attacker to receive any credit for her motivation to succeed.
Pamela Anderson
She is hot and famous but the Baywatch star has been a rape victim when she was a child. "Looking back, it was awful," Anderson said. "I felt like everyone knew that I had had sex, like it was tattooed on my forehead."
Gabrielle Union
In an interview with Oprah, the actress revealed that she was raped at the age of 19 at gunpoint by a robber when she worked at a shoe store. She explained how good people encouraged her to live "survivorhood, not victimhood."
Mackenzie Phillips
She suffered a horrific time when her late father, John Phillips who was the frontman for the Mamas & the Papas, raped her. She told on The Oprah Winfrey Show, We have to talk about when you raped me" to which he allegedly replied, "You mean when we made love?"
Anne Heche
The actress and ex of comedian, Ellen Degeneres, spent the first 31 years of her life suffering from mental illness due by sexual assault. According to sources, Anne's father raped her when she was a toddler until she turned 12. Heche also contracted herpes and her mother assumed it was a diaper rash thus refused to take Anne to a doctor. When Heche confronted her abuse, both got estranged as her mother thought she was lying.
Ashley Judd
In a press conference, the actress revealed that she had been a three-time rape survivor. Her revelation inspired others also to come up and speak about their incidents openly.
