Furious 7 Box Office: Highest 1st Day Opener In India

Before the release of Furious 7, it was predicted that the movie will become one of the highest grossers of the year. Ever since the Fast and Furious franchise started, it has been increasing it's fan following and this seventh installment is all the more special as it is the last film of Paul Walker.

The release of the film was delayed for a year after the tragic death of actor Paul Walker. The star who played Brian in the franchise died of a tragic car accident in 2013 due to which the project was delayed.

Now that the movie released everywhere, it is expected to be cross $1 billion worldwide a the box office. Furious 7 or Fast & Furious 7 released yesterday in India and has been going houseful till now.

This year, Furious 7 has become the highest Hollywood grosser in India with box office collections of about 12 crores on Day 1 itself. With the holidays going on, the collections of Furious 7 in India is supposed to increase more. Good Friday and then the weekends will attract more F&F fans to the theaters.

This movie is all the more special as fans of the late handsome actor, Paul Walker are dying to see the actor take his last ride on the big screen.

Furious 7 also stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jason Statham. The movie has shown some amazing stunts and is expected to become the highest April opener in the US which is set to beat Captain America: The Winter Soldier's record.
