Fifty Shades of Grey India: Scenes We Won't See In Theatres

Fifty Shades of Grey might have become a sensation, but its raunchy and bold scenes have been noticed and is being considered in many countries before its release. Fifty Shades was ranked as the most erotic movie of the decade and the BDSM theme has raised many eyebrows in the mainstream cinema.

Fifty Shades of Grey India release date has been postponed due to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issues. The erotic movie has been banned in Malaysia, UAE, Kenya and Indonesia due to the bold scenes and sexual behaviour which appears abusive to many.

Fifty Shades of Grey released in the US on Valentine's Day with an R rating which means that a viewer under 17 years of age has to bring their parent to watch the movie. In short, parental guidance and approval is mandatory. The erotic movie is an adaptation from British author, E.L. James novel of the same name. The story is about a rich billionaire, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) who has a fetish for BDSM and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), a naive student who falls for him.

In UK, the erotic movie released with an 18 certificate which means kids under 18 can't watch the movie. However, France rated the movie, 12 where children as young as 12 can watch the movie as the French National Film Board (CNC) found the movie less erotic and scenes were not as intimate and bold as hyped according to them.

However, France is well known to rate films with sexual content lower than many other countries like the U.S. and the UK. For example, Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise's infamous sex scene in 'Eyes Wide Shut' got an U rating in France while it got 18 rating in US and UK.

So, if Fifty Shades of Grey is releasing in India, the fans would be disappointed from now itself as the readers of the trilogy who had been waiting long to watch the first installment from Fifty Shades series would not find the movie explicit.

We are sure that the Fifty Shades of Grey India release would witness omission of many sex scenes which is already less in the movie!

Here are the Fifty Shades of Grey scenes which we might not see in India.
