The HBO show has yet again topped TorrentFreak's year-end list of the most pirated TV shows. Game Of Thrones is the most pirated TV show of 2015. It is fir the fourth time in the row that the show has earned this untrustworthy distinction.

The show's season finale episode had about 14.4 Million downloads. Games Of Thrones beat The Walking Dead, which ranks second on the list. An episode of The Walking Dead had about 6.9 million downloads. Reportedly, The Walking Dead has more viewership than Game Of Thrones in the US.

HBO had taken a number of measures to curb the issue of Piracy. One of it being, airing the episodes on the same day worldwide which was playing a major role in illegal downloads. Also, the channel had received complaints from the international viewers.

The piracy tracking website Torrentsfreak's rating is based on the number of episodes of any respective show downloaded in a day's time. The other shows that top the list include the comedy series The Big Bang Theory.

The other top pirated shows of 2015 include CW's Arrow with 3.9 million. USA's hacker drama Mr.Robot with 3.5 million and CBS' Supergirl with 3 million also also made it to top 10.
