Supermodel Gisele Bundchen Retires From Runway, See Her Last Ramp Walk

Former Victoria's Secret Angel, Gisele Bundchen had an emotional moment at the Colcci Summer 2016 collection during São Paulo Fashion Week in São Paulo, Brazil on April 15, 2015.

The Brazilian model had announced her retirement from the runway weeks ago and said that the Colcci Week would be the last time when we would see the former VS Angel walk the ramp.

There were tears, hugs, and a standing ovation as supermodel Gisele Bundchen strode the catwalk one last time on her home turf in Brazil.

Gisele Bundchen who is the top-earning model walked the runway for the last time on Wednesday at São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW). It is the same event where she made her debut 20 years ago and launched her career.

The supermodel was the show opener as well as the showstopper for Brazilian label Colcci. The first row was filled with her close friends, parents and her husband, American football star Tom Brady. She wrapped the show with fellow models including Brazilian-born model Fernanda Tavares who clapped for her, and it was indeed an emotional moment.

Gisele also shared a throwback snap from the show on Instagram with a caption, "I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business."

Later, her darling husband shared a beautiful message on Facebook which reads, "Congratulations Love of my Life. You inspire me every day to be a better person. I am so proud of you and everything you..."
