Halle Berry & Olivier Have Decided To Grow Apart! Finalized Their Divorce Yet?

Halle Berry and husband Olivier Martinz have decided to end their marriage. Both the actors, in a joint statement told CNN, "It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce," to shut down the news regarding the issues in their marriage.

The couple further added, "‎We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son." Halle and Olivier have a 2 years old son, Mace, together. They both seemed worried about their son.

"We wish each other nothing but happiness in life and we hope that you respect our and, most importantly, our children's privacy as we go through this difficult period." Halle has a daughter who is 7 years old with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Anthony.

The couple has listed the date of separation as Monday, according to court paperwork obtained, reported People magazine.

Halle and Olivier both 49, wed in 2013 in France. The actress was previously married to baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet. It was Olivier first marriage with Halle. They had their son a year after their wedding.

The couple is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old son, Maceo. Halle said she is just considering her son's best interest and isn't claiming for primary custody of the child.

Martinez claimed for his property, which were listed as "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects," "earnings and accumulations ... after the date of separation," and "additional separate property assets and obligations of the parties, the exact nature and extent of which are not presently known."
