James Foley, the director behind the hit political TV show, House of Cards is set to enter the world of Fifty Shades. Fifty Shades of Grey star, Dakota Johnson, who will be next seen the the erotic movie's sequel, 'Fifty Shades Darker' has recently revealed that James Foley is the new director for the film.

Earlier, Sam Taylor-Johnson announced that she would be leaving the franchise back in March. Her departure was confirmed amid rumours of a fall out with the bestselling trilogy's author, E.L. James.

Now, James Foley is entering the world of erotic with Fifty Shades of Darker to add the thrill in the sequel. "It's quite exciting," Dakota told Empire after revealing that James Foley s going to put the director's hat for the sequel of the 2015's erotic blockbuster.

However, Dakota Johnson who plays submissive, Anastasia Steele in the BDSM themed erotica was however afraid once Sam-Taylor Johnson quit the franchise.

"There was a moment of being afraid, because I didn't know what it was going to be like. I had an experience with Sam [Taylor-Johnson] and then that all went away. Now I'm excited. I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?," she added.

Dakota Johnson is signed up for the final two films in the trilogy along with co-star Jamie Dornan who plays the handsome dominant, Christian Grey.

Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed are set to be release around Valentine's Day in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
