Birthday Special: Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick's Romance
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian is celebrating her birthday today (18th April, 2015). The American reality TV star turns 36 today and her birthday celebrations started a day before with flowers!
Kourtney who is the elder sister of Kim Kardashian and the eldest daughter in the Kardashian/Jenner clan rose to fame after starring in her family's reality TV drama, Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007.
Kourtney has always been in the limelight over her relationship troubles with her partner, Scott Disick. The model turned reality TV star's on-again and off-again romance with Scott has often made news. However, a relationship will have its ups and downs but it all depends on how you deal with it and come up stronger.
We are really happy to see Kourtney and Scott Disick together since 2006 and being proud parents of 3 children. Kourtney began dating Scott Disick in 2007, after they met at friend Joe Francis' house party in Mexico. The couple have had an on-again, off-again relationship, all throughout the filming of the show. Kourtney gave birth to their first son, Mason Dash Disick, on December 14, 2009. The birth of Mason was filmed and aired during the 4th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Now that Scott is controlling is drinking habits and becoming responsible too, we decided to celebrate Kourtney's birthday with their cutest pics together.
How They Met
Kourtney met Scott in 2006 at friend Joe Francis' house party in Mexico. The model shared this pic from the party on 28th March this year and captioned, "#FBF The night I met @letthelordbewithyou"
Romance In The Air
Scott and the reality TV star were inseparable and also appeared on her family's reality TV show.
On and Off
The couple have had an on-again, off-again relationship, all throughout the filming of the show and reportedly broke up in 2009 but got together after Kourtney got pregnant.
Pregnancy
Although Scott and Kourtney were on-again and off-again, they tried to make it work with the first child. Kourtney delivered their first child, Mason Dash Disick on December 14, 2009. The birth of Mason was filmed and aired during the 4th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Trouble In Paradise
The couple temporarily moved to Miami with their son and Kourtney's sister Kim in early 2010. During this time, Kourtney and Disick almost split due to his alcohol and anger issues. His behaviour towards her sisters and family caused problems especially with Khloe Kardashian who even slapped him in a drunken argument.
Therapy
Scott Disick underwent outpatient treatment for alcohol and psychological issues. Disick and Kourtney reconciled their relationship in mid-2010.
Popping The Question
In 2011, during the final episode in the first season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Disick purchased an engagement ring and wanted to propose to Kourtney in New York City during a meal.
Kourtneys' Reply
Disick asked for her opinion on marriage and she replied, "if things are so good now... why would we want to change that?", so they did not get engaged but continued their romance.
Second Baby
In July 2012, Kourtney gave birth to their second child, daughter Penelope Scotland Disick at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Reality TV Shows
Scott has been appearing regularly on her reality television programs, Keeping up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.
Paternity Suit
In 2013, male model Michael Girgenti reportedly filed a paternity lawsuit against Kourtney, claiming that he was the father of her son Mason, as opposed to Disick. Scott reportedly moved out as a result of the drama.
Scott Is The Father
Kourtney refuted the allegations and had Disick take a paternity test in august 2013 which revealed that Disick is the father of both Mason and Penelope.
Third Baby
The following year, Scott and Kourtney announced that Kourtney was adding one more member to their family. Kourtney gave birth to their third child, a son, on December 14, 2014. Now the couple are having a stable relationship after he went to a rehab yet again to deal with his drinking issue.
