Lindsay Lohan Snapped With Quran In Hand, Converting To Islam?

Did Lindsay Lohan convert to Islam or planning a conversion soon? The troubled Hollywood actress was recently snapped carrying the English translation of Holy Quran in her hand.

The 28-year-old 'Mean Girls' actress has always shown her interest in spirituality and was seen carrying the Quran in her left hand after first day of community service in Brooklyn.

Lindsay reportedly arrived 2 hours late to the community service center but when she left, she has this English translation of the holy book which raised questions if the Catholic actress converted to Islam. Lindsay Lohan is of Irish and Italian heritage and was raised as a Catholic. If she is following Quran, she has to leave alcohol and drug addiction as it prescribes a lifestyle free of alcohol for Muslims.

It is not the first time Lindsay has shown an interest in other religions. Last year, she told Oprah Winfrey that meditation put her in touch with 'greater powers'.

During the height of her fame as a teen star, she wore a Kabbalah red string bracelet which wards off misfortune brought about by the 'evil eye'.

'The Canyons' actress was also rumoured to be attending Kabbalah classes, and in 2012 she reportedly joined Courtney Love's Buddhist chanting group.

'I'm a very spiritual person and I've become more spiritual as time has gone on,' she said last year in a docu-series with Oprah Winfrey.

The troubled actress is working hard on giving up her drug and alcohol addiction. Her 'emotional detox' is helping her give up alcohol and dating.
