Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are celebrating their 9th wedding anniversary today! The screen goddess and the country singer are happily settled with two kids and homes around the world.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban exude a tranquility and happiness around each other which has slammed critics and haters who felt that the gorgeous Oscar winning actress and the Grammy winning singer are not the best match, after her ex husband, Tom Cruise raised the standards to such an extent.

There was a low phase of the actress who suffered the worst after her ten-year marriage to Tom Cruise was void. However, after she met Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman knew he was the one. Recalling her first meeting, Kidman told Ellen Degeneres on her show, that she didn't think her husband Keith Urban liked her when they first met at G'Day LA, an event honouring Australians, in 2005.

"I'm like, 'You didn't love me at first sight, you didn't notice me,' and he's like, 'Yes I did but I just didn't let on,' but we kind of met and then about four months later he called me," Kidman told on The Ellen Show. They married on 25th June 2006, at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in the grounds of St Patrick's Estate, Manly in Sydney.

The couple welcomed their first daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban in 2008. In 2010, Kidman and Urban had their second daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, via surrogacy. Faith's middle name is after Kidman's late grandmother.
