Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are celebrating their 9th wedding anniversary today! The screen goddess and the country singer are happily settled with two kids and homes around the world.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban exude a tranquility and happiness around each other which has slammed critics and haters who felt that the gorgeous Oscar winning actress and the Grammy winning singer are not the best match, after her ex husband, Tom Cruise raised the standards to such an extent.
There was a low phase of the actress who suffered the worst after her ten-year marriage to Tom Cruise was void. However, after she met Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman knew he was the one. Recalling her first meeting, Kidman told Ellen Degeneres on her show, that she didn't think her husband Keith Urban liked her when they first met at G'Day LA, an event honouring Australians, in 2005.
"I'm like, 'You didn't love me at first sight, you didn't notice me,' and he's like, 'Yes I did but I just didn't let on,' but we kind of met and then about four months later he called me," Kidman told on The Ellen Show. They married on 25th June 2006, at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in the grounds of St Patrick's Estate, Manly in Sydney.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban in 2008. In 2010, Kidman and Urban had their second daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, via surrogacy. Faith's middle name is after Kidman's late grandmother.

The First Meeting
Nicole and Keith met for the first time at G'Day LA, an event honouring Australians, in 2005.
Recalling The Moment
Nicole felt he did not like her at the first meeting. "I'm like, 'You didn't love me at first sight, you didn't notice me,' and he's like, 'Yes I did but I just didn't let on,' but we kind of met and then about four months later he called me," she told Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show.
Wedding
Their first public appearance together was at the Grammys in February 2006. At Oscars the same year, she revealed, "Actually he's my fiancé." They married on 25th June 2006, at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in the grounds of St Patrick's Estate, Manly in Sydney.
On Marriage
Although Nicole Kidman had a failed wedding with Tom Cruise, she said she is spontaneous to Elle magazine's January 2015 issue. "I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other," she added. "I know that it sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it's a more natural process."
Kids
Although Nicole shared two adopted kids with former husband, Tom Cruise, she was open to have a family with Keith. The couple welcomed their first daughter Sunday Rose in July 2008 and second daughter, Faith Margaret in December 2010.
How Is Marriage With A Musician
"The great thing about being married to a musician - I don't know if anybody in the audience is; you have music in the house all the time. There is something very joyful about having music. Keith can play pretty much any instrument. He'll just play piano at 7 in the morning that's what we have is breakfast around the piano and very much a part of our life," she told on The Ellen Show.
She Feels Lucky
"Keith always says, ‘We're lucky we met late in life. The sadness of that is we can't have six kids together, but the greatness of that is [we are done] with all the other stuff, so now we are totally present for this.' That's a great thing to hear from a man," Kidman tells The Edit.
From Hell To Heaven
Last year Keith celebrated their 8th anniversary during his concert where he said on the stage, "Eight years, baby girl. This song is for you. I love you so much." "I had two girlfriends sitting with me and they were like, ‘Bitch!'" Kidman laughed. "I went, ‘Hey! I've been to hell and back!'"
How They Spend Time Together
Although the busy couple manage from Australia to LA traveling, they love watching TV together! "We watch America's Funniest Home Videos and reruns of The Brady Bunch, that's very much our life," she dished.
