Oscar 2015 Presenters: Jennifer Aniston Joins Despite Snub

Jennifer Aniston might have been snubbed this year at the Oscars for the Best Actress category. However, the 'Cake' actress is all set to present an award at the prestigious ceremony.

Jennifer Aniston had been getting Best Actress nominations this award season for her performance in the movie, Cake. However, the actress was snubbed and did not get any nominations at the Oscars which was a real surprise.

Although she has not got any nomination, Jennifer Aniston's name has been released as one of the presenters who will take the stage of the 2015 Oscars which will be held on Feb 22nd.

After the Oscar nominations were announced, Jen was on The Ellen Show where she discussed about her Oscar snub. Aniston using her signature comic timing said on Oscar omission, "I'm the No. 1 snubbed!" After saying this, she added the punchline, "That's the silver lining, right?"

Show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced on Tuesday the new names of Oscar presenters which includes Jennifer Aniston, Siena Miller, Chris Pratt, Kerry Washington, John Travolta and David Oyelowo.

David Oyelowo was also snubbed even after his portrayal as Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma created Oscar buzz but could not make it to the Best Actor category.

These stars have joined other presenters namely Benedict Cumberbatch, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Lupita Nyong'o, Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto to name a few.

The 2015 Academy Awards will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
