People's Choice Awards 2015: Movie, TV & Music Winners List

The awards season is here and some of the biggest names in TV, film and music stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday to attend 2015 People's Choice Awards.

The star studded evening marked the winners and best red carpet looks which made headlines. While winners who are hand-picked by fans gave excellent acceptance speech, they also thanked their fans for the same.

The first People's Choice Awards 2015 of the night went to Melissa McCarthy for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress. "I want to thank the fans that go out and buy movie tickets and allow me to do what I do. Thanks for the job," the "Mike and Molly" actress told fans. "Without you I would not have a job and I'm going to stick around as long as you have me," she added in her acceptance speech.

Maleficent won the Best Movie, Jennifer Lawrence grabbed Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Action Movie Actress, while Robert Downey Jr. won the Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor award.

In TV, 'The Big Bang Theory' won big at People's Choice Award 2015. The TV series won Favorite Network Tv Comedy Series and their stars Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting won Favorite Comedic TV Actress award.

Coming to music, Taylor Swift won two awards, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Female Artist categories at People's Choice Awards. her song, Shake It Off won Favorite Song.

Favorite Comedic Movie Actress

Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. won the Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor award. "Well this is perfect for because I love people. I'm crazy about movies and I prefer people who are crazy about my movies. I want to eat you up. And you're not going anyway," he said in the acceptance speech.

Jennifer Lawrence

The Oscar winning actress had a big win at People's Choice Awards 2015. JLaw won 2 awards like Robert Downey Jr. Jennifer Lawrence won Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Action Movie Actress awards.

Favorite Movie

Angelina Jolie starrer movie won Favorite Movie award.

Favorite Movie Duo

The actress with her action and romantic movies in 2014 won many hearts. She won Favorite Movie Duo with & Theo James for "Divergent".

Favorite Action Movie Actor

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star Chris Evans, scored Favorite Action Movie Actor. He said, "I don't win stuff, so this is kind of cool."

Shailene Woodley and Theo James starrer Divergent won Favorite Action Movie.

Favorite Comedic Movie

22 Jump Street, the comedy movie scored Favorite Comedic Movie award at People's Choice Awards.

Adam Sandler won Favorite Comedic Movie Actor. "This really means a lot to me," said Sandler, who added, "Thanks for all these years -- for being so nice to me."

'If I Stay' actress Chloë Grace Moretz won the Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress award.

Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike starrer Gone Girl won the Favorite Thriller Movie award.

Favorite Humanitarian

Ben Affleck received the People's Choice Favorite Humanitarian Award, presented by "Big Eyes" star Amy Adams. he was greeted with a stand ovation as he walked up to the stage.
