President Obama Gives Back Kanye West

Kanye West and US President Barack Obama might not share a good and healthy terms with each other over the past few years. However, Kanye never shies away from saying something that shows he is important in the industry and has VVIP friends!

West gave a guest lecture at Oxford University earlier this month where he reportedly claimed that he and the president were in regular communication with another and he calls on his home phone. According to Vulture, West said he "call Obama out of the blue," and Obama "calls the home phone, by the way."

However, President Obama was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday where he spilled the beans about Yeezy claiming of being in touch with him.

"Look, I love his music. He's incredibly creative," Obama said when by Jimmy asked if he is talking to Kanye or having a conversation with him."The first time when I was a senator, and he was with his mom, and he had just gotten big. He is from Chicago and so they wanted to meet. And he was very soft-spoken, very gracious."

"About six months ago, he came to an event," Obama added.

Obama concluded by saying, "I don't think I've got his home number."

Obama, who once called West a "jackass" after the rapper infamously upstaged Taylor Swift at MTV Video Music Awards in 2009. Clearing the air, Obama also said he and West had met only two times.
