Kanye
West
and
US
President
Barack
Obama
might
not
share
a
good
and
healthy
terms
with
each
other
over
the
past
few
years.
However,
Kanye
never
shies
away
from
saying
something
that
shows
he
is
important
in
the
industry
and
has
VVIP
friends!
West
gave
a
guest
lecture
at
Oxford
University
earlier
this
month
where
he
reportedly
claimed
that
he
and
the
president
were
in
regular
communication
with
another
and
he
calls
on
his
home
phone.
According
to
Vulture,
West
said
he
"call
Obama
out
of
the
blue," and
Obama
"calls
the
home
phone,
by
the
way."
However,
President
Obama
was
on
Jimmy
Kimmel
Live!
on
Thursday
where
he
spilled
the
beans
about
Yeezy
claiming
of
being
in
touch
with
him.
"Look,
I
love
his
music.
He's
incredibly
creative,"
Obama
said
when
by
Jimmy
asked
if
he
is
talking
to
Kanye
or
having
a
conversation
with
him."The
first
time
when
I
was
a
senator,
and
he
was
with
his
mom,
and
he
had
just
gotten
big.
He
is
from
Chicago
and
so
they
wanted
to
meet.
And
he
was
very
soft-spoken,
very
gracious."
"About
six
months
ago,
he
came
to
an
event,"
Obama
added.
Obama
concluded
by
saying,
"I
don't
think
I've
got
his
home
number."
Obama,
who
once
called
West
a
"jackass"
after
the
rapper
infamously
upstaged
Taylor
Swift
at
MTV
Video
Music
Awards
in
2009.
Clearing
the
air,
Obama
also
said
he
and
West
had
met
only
two
times.
