Selena Gomez Planning On Quitting Her Music Career After Revival
The 23 years old former Disney star Selena Gomez is planning on quitting the music industry according to the new reports by the OK! Magazine. Apparently, ‘Revival' is going to be her last album.
The actress and singer who is currently busy promoting her new album is working on a movie, too. Supposedly, she wants to stop being associated with the music industry due to the hypocrisy that she is subject to there.
A source close to Selena Gomez told the OK! Magazine that, "Underneath her spirited facade, Selena is a mess. She cries all the time thinking about the hypocrisy and backstabbing that come with the entertainment industry."
The source also added that, "This album will be her last and she's told her agent that she's done with acting too.", while Selena hasn't made any such statement regarding ending her acting or singing career.
Recently Selena announced to the world about her Lupus condition and how she was subject to fat-shaming by many. She's got very candid and been more open to the public since her comeback.
Reports say that the singer-actress has had enough experience from Hollywood and now she wants to take a break. One of the sources said, "After that, she's out. Just because she made a lot of money in Hollywood doesn't mean she has to stay,"
When Selena was questioned about her career in acting she said, "Acting gave me a new perspective and developed my personality,". But, she didn't say anything about retiring from her career.
In an interview with the America's Glamour magazine Selena said, "I definitely didn't appreciate (my upbringing) when I was little. I was frustrated that my parents weren't together and never saw the light at the end of the tunnel where my mom was working hard to provide a better life for me. I'm terrified of what I would have become if I'd stayed there. I'm sure I'd have two children by now."
The singer was also rumored to be patching up with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Beiber. A lot has been spoken about her since she ended her one year's break and decided tore-visit Hollywood a few months back.
While there's so much happening around Selena, she is yet to officially announce her retirement. Until then we can look forward to her new album ‘Revival' that's going to keep the singer busy through the year 2016.
