Ever
since
the
trailer
of
Mission
Impossible
Rogue
Nation
released,
we
have
been
waiting
to
see
how
Tom
Cruise
performed
the
deadly
airplane
stunt.
Months
before
the
trailer
dropped,
pictures
from
the
shoot
went
viral
on
social
media
as
Tom
Cruise
who
plays
Ethan
Hunt
loves
doing
the
stunts
all
by
himself.
Yes,
you
read
it
right!
The
airplane
stunt
is
not
performed
by
a
body
double
but
by
Tom
Cruise
himself!
The
crew
advised
Tom
Cruise
to
not
do
the
stunt
by
himself
as
it
was
life-risky.
They
even
wanted
to
use
body
doubles
who
are
experienced
in
this
daring
stunts.
However,
Tom
decided
to
go
with
the
adrenaline
rush
at
RAF
Wittering,
near
Stamford,
Lincolnshire.
In
the
footage,
Tom
Cruise
is
seen
clinging
onto
a
plane
as
it
soars
5,000
ft
in
the
air.
In
a
death-defying
scene,
Tom
Cruise
clambers
from
a
door
of
the
Airbus
A400M
Atlas
military
transporter
as
it
takes
off
and
then
holds
on
as
it
circles
at
250
mph.
"You
would
never
hang
a
multimillion
dollar
star
from
a
plane
in
the
normal
world,
but
Tom
wanted
to
be
on
the
outside
of
that
plane,"
the
movie's
stunt
coordinator
Wade
Eastwood
explains
of
the
star's
persistence
to
execute
the
dangerous
plane
hang
himself.
Tom
too
was
scared
and
revealed,
"I
couldn't
sleep
the
night
before
and
then
came
the
day.
I
was
like,
‘Okay,
this
is
really
gonna
happen.'"
I'm
feeling
the
force
of
the
wind
hit
me.
I'm
actually
scared
sh**less,"
Tom
says
in
the
video.
Do
not
worry
as
sources
say
that
he
was
wearing
a
harness
that
was
attached
to
the
plane.
This
made
Tom
try
this
daring
stunt
in
MI
and
that
too
at
the
height
of
5,000
ft
in
the
air!
