Tom
Hardy
was
making
headlines
not
because
of
his
new
biopic
but
over
shutting
down
a
reporter
during
the
Legend
press
conference
at
TIFF
a
few
days
ago.
During
the
conference,
a
reporter
asked
about
his
sexuality
during
a
press
conference
for
his
latest
film,
Legend.
Back
then,
a
reporter
named
Graeme
Coleman
from
the
LGBT
site
Daily
Xtra,
asked
Hardy
during
the
Q&A,
"In
the
film,
your
character
Ronnie
is
very
open
about
his
sexuality
but
given
interviews
you've
done
in
the
past,
your
own
sexuality
seems
a
bit
more
ambiguous.
Do
you
find
it
hard
for
celebrities
to
talk
to
media
about
their
sexuality?"
Tom
paused
for
a
second
and
then
responded,
"What
on
earth
are
you
on
about?"

The
crowd
burst
into
laughter,
and
Coleman
then
stated
he
was
referring
to
comments
the
Mad
Max:
Fury
Road
actor
gave
in
an
interview
with
Attitude
Magazine
in
2008.
Hardy
replied,
"But
what
is
your
question?"
Now
the
British
actor
spoke
to
Entertainment
Weekly
and
said
he
is
happy
to
discuss
about
his
sexual
preferences,
but
wasn't
prepared
to
speak
about
it
when
it
was
brought
up
at
the
Toronto
International
Film
Festival
on
Sunday
in
front
of
journalists.
The
actor
who
is
expecting
a
first
child
with
wife,
Charlotte
Riley
said
that
the
reporter's
question
was
'annoying'
and
'inelegant'.
He
said,
"That
really,
really
annoyed
me.
It
was
just
the
inelegance
of
being
asked
in
a
room
full
of
people.
Now
I'm
happy
to
have
a
conversation,
a
discussion,
at
a
reasonable
time
about
anything.
I'm
confident
in
my
own
sexuality,
and
I'm
also
confident
in
my
own
being
and
talking
about
any
issue
you
want
to
talk
about
it.
But
there
is
a
time
and
a
place
for
that."
"I
found
it
very
humiliating
for
somebody
to
decide
that
on
his
dime
and
his
time,
to
openly
and
inelegantly
pursue
a
line
of
questioning
which
I
could
only
sense
at
the
moment
-
which
was
quite
awkward
-
that
it
was
zeroing
in
on
a
reaction
from
me
that
would
become
a
topic
of
discussion
that
had
nothing
to
do
really,
really
to
do
with
what
was
there," he
added.
Tom
Hardy
married
Charlotte
in
2014
and
the
couple
is
expecting
their
first
child
together.
He
is
already
a
father
to
son,
Louis
Thomas
with
ex
girlfriend,
Rachael
Speed.
