The celebrated Hollywood actor, Andrew Garfield who had shouldered the role of Spider-Man in two movies titled Amazing Spider-Man in 2010 and Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, seems he didn't enjoy playing the role of Spider-Man as he says he had struggled playing the character.

The actor says, featuring in the role of Spider-Man needs different skill sets altogether. He says the job required "a different set of values and a different hierarchy of priorities. And we all know what those are. I struggled with that. I wasn't having the total experience that I remembered having."

"What I realized is that I can't help but give my full self to something," Added Andrew Garfield.

Garfield also stated that he always felt home featuring in dark dramas than being in a vibrant comic series like Spider-Man. He added, he never quite felt he would fit in the character of Spider-Man wearing spandex and doing all those sling around things.

"I can end up pouring myself into a bucket with a hole in it. I knew that with Martin Scorsese, he creates a container from the moment he sends you three boxes of research. By the time you show up on set, there are no leaks, and you can just inhabit the character's journey." Stated Andrew Garfield.
