Angelina Jolie To Divorce Brad Pitt After 11 Years Of Togetherness

In a shocking turn of events, Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from actor-producer husband Brad Pitt after spending 11 years together.

Angelina Jolie has decided to get separated and filed divorce from husband Brad Pitt, on family grounds, as Angelina's attorney confirmed.

"This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time," Robert Offer, the attorney stated.

The couple cited irreconcilable differences and the "health of the family" as the reason for their split. Angelina and Brad have been together for almost 11 years, since 2005.

"Both Pitt, 52, and Jolie care very much about their kids and there is sadness on both sides, the divorce is a complete shock. They have definitely spent more time apart this year, but it's still a shock. They just celebrated their wedding anniversary together.'' A source stated.

While Brad Pitt, who is pretty dejected by the turn of events, has said: "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
