Singer
Avril
Lavigne
has
severely
slammed
the
Facebook
founder
and
CEO
Mark
Zuckerberg,
for
bullying
the
music
band
Nickelback,
which
was
fronted
by
Chad
Kroeger,
Avril's
former
husband.
Mark
Zuckerberg
had
once
made
a
jest
about
the
band
Nickelback,
while
promoting
for
his
much
anticipated
artificial
intelligence
assistant
named
Jarvis,
saying
there
are
"no
good
Nickelback
songs" to
play
for.
However,
Avril
Lavigne
didn't
find
the
funny
side
in
this
statement
made
by
Mark
Zuckerberg.
Rather,
she
has
taken
it
quite
seriously
and
lashed
out
at
him.
The
Canadian
singer,
songwriter
and
actress
who
reportedly
patched
up
with
her
former
husband
earlier
this
year,
took
to
twitter
to
vent
her
frustration.
"Dear
Mark,
many
people
use
your
products
-
some
people
love
them
and
some
people
don't.
Either
way,
you're
allowed
your
musical
opinion
however,
your
jab
at
Nickelback
is
in
poor
taste."
Avril
Lavigne
tweeted
in
her
page.
Avril
also
added
that
a
personality
like
Mark
Zuckerberg
shouldn't
indulge
or
promote
bullying
in
any
form.
"When
you
have
a
voice
like
yours,
you
may
want
to
consider
being
more
responsible
with
promoting
bullying,
especially
given
what's
going
on
in
the
world
today.
Say
no
to
bullying.
The
joke
is
old.
Nickelback
has
sold
over
50
million
albums."
Said
Avril
Lavigne.
