Confirmed! Beyonce To Perform With Coldplay At Superbowl Halftime Show 2016!

In a press meet that took place yesterday, January 7, 2016, sponsor Pepsi confirmed the most awaited news. Beyonce to perform with Coldplay at Superbowl Halftime Show 2016! Just a moth ago, NFL confirmed that Coldplay will be performing at the event happening in February.

The 34 years old singer who is also good friends with the Frontman of Coldplay, Beyonce is going to collaborate with the band on the song Hymn for the weekend. Hymn is one of the songs from Coldplay's latest album 'A Head Full Of Dreams'.

Beyonce had previously appeared on Superbowl 2013. She lit the crowd up through her dazzling and highly energetic performance. She was briefly joined by her former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Bruno Mars who performed in the Superbowl Halftime 2014 is also rumoured to be a part of 2016's Halftime. The singer was shortly joined by the band Red Chilli Peppers. The other singer who dazzled on the stage in 2014 Halftime was the Roar singer Katy Perry.

Around 118 Million viewers tuned in to watch Katy Perry perform and it became the highest viewed performance in the history of Halftime Shows. Singers and musicians like Madonna, Black Eyed Peas and Missy Elliot have also been a part of the performances.

The 50th Superbowl will be taking place at the Levi's stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 7. It airs live on CBS.
