The most anticipated movie of the year Captain America : Civil War, is slated to hit the theaters on May 6 2016, and things are heating up in the Marvel universe!
The special screening of the movie, received positive words from critics and fans and based on the first impressions of the movie, it is the biggest Marvel movie till date, with a huge cast and a lot of superheroes going against each other.
Arguably, Hulk is missing from all the actions. The movie makers felt that having Hulk on one side would be an unfair advantage as he is so strong, the other side would be defeated for sure. So excluding Hulk from this epic clash, is understandable.
The movie makers had suggested that Spiderman has a bigger role in the movie, similar to his character in the comics. In the comics, Spidey is central part of the clash, where he sides with Ironman initially; but changes sides once he learns about his motives.
In the comics Crossbones kills the original Captain America/Steve Rogers by shooting him, when he was least expecting it. Crossbones is seen in the trailer fighting Captain America and the fans are wondering, if this could truly be the end of the First Avenger!
In the comics, the death toll is staggeringly high, the movie has underplayed this part and have lined up some impressive superheroes on both sides of the wire, to make up for it.
The Phase III of MCU is beginning with Captain America : Civil War, this movie sets the base for every other Marvel movie that is slated till 2019! After Captain America : Civil War, the Avengers will be seen sharing screen space in Infinity War, a two part movie!
But it is expected that there will be losses on both sides in this latest instalment and who gets to live and who gets to die is yet to be seen. Black Panther and Spiderman are safe because their solo movies are set to hit the theaters in the next year and the year following that. Apart from that, we really can't guess with Crossbones in the mix.
Who will survive this epic battle? Which side wins and which one loses? How is the MCU affected due to incidents in this movie? So many questions are left unanswered till the movie hits the cinemas on May 6, 2016.
