Producer Simon Kinberg said that the upcoming sequel to 'Deadpool' will be directed towards cracking jokes on the 'saturation' reached in the whole superhero movie genre. It will look to mock and ridicule the latest trend with the unnecessary glut in every Superhero movie.
Amidst the gloomy feedback for the recent superhero movie 'Suicide Squad', Simon Kinberg said that his character 'Deadpool' is a motor-mouthed hero and will never shy away to uphold the agenda about crisis in the superhero movie drama, and the desperation which shows in the sequels.
"I think 'Deadpool 2' will comment on anything that's happening in movies today, especially in superhero movies," he said.
"The sort of glut or saturation of these movies and the proliferation of sequels is definitely something we'll play around with."
The second installment of the movie Deadpool is expected to commence filming in the early months of 2017. The film will be directed by Tim Miller; and Ryan Reynolds will be in the lead character. The story of the movie is yet to be disclosed.
It is learnt that Cable who was originally scripted to make an appearance in the first movie is now confirmed to finally make his presence in the sequel.
