Renowned
actor
and
comedian,
Eddie
Murphy
reveals
that
he
had
been
offered
drugs
by
many
of
his
friends
on
a
number
of
occasions
in
the
past,
but
now
he
thanks
God
that
he
has
always
refused
them
and
never
consumed
drugs
in
his
life.
The
55-year-old
actor
said
that
his
late
friend
and
co-star
John
Belushi,
who
died
in
1982,
from
drug
overdose,
and
his
another
late
friend
Robin
Williams,
had
asked
him
to
consume
drugs
in
some
occasions
but
Murphy
refused.
"I
don't
drink.
I
don't
have
like
this
moral
thing
about
it,
I
just
don't
do
it
and
I
didn't
get
high." Said
Murphy.
"(One
night
out)
Belushi
and
Robin
Williams
offered
me
some
cocaine
and
I
didn't
take
it.
Then,
years
later,
I
was
like,
Wow,
that's
a
trip.
(If
I'd
accepted
it)
The
Eddie
Murphy
story
would
have
been
totally
different," he
added.
Murphy
also
remembered
his
old
times
when
he
actually
could
involve
himself
in
wrong
things;
however,
he
heaved
a
sigh
of
relief
that
he
held
himself
back
and
restrained
from
doing
any
wrong
things
at
that
phase
of
his
life.
"There
are
a
bunch
of
things
like
that
that
I
look
back
on
and
be
like,
'Wow.'
And
that
just
reaffirms
my
faith.
I
know
that
God
is
real.
There's
been
a
bunch
of
times
when
I
could
have
wound
up
crashing
and
burning," he
said.
