Felicity Jones Says Every Single Woman Wants Equal Pay

A Star Wars Story star Felicity Jones opened up about the gender inequality prevailing in the Hollywood industry in the matter of pay, She said recently, she wants to be paid equal to any actor irrespective of gender for the hard work she is doing.

She said, this is what all women in the world want, to be treated and paid equally with the men for their hard work.

"That's what every single woman around the world wants. We want to be paid on parity with a man in a similar position. And I think it's important to talk about it," the Inferno actress said in a statement.

She also added that those women are brave enough to bring this problem to the surface and talk about it in the open. This will infuse enough confident within the young actresses to take this matter forward and see to it that they are paid right and equal.

"It's brave of those women to come forward and make a point about it. Now younger actresses will have a confidence in those discussions with their agents and be able to say, 'Can we make sure that I'm being paid the right amount for the work that I'm doing?'" Jones added further.
