George Clooney Was Shocked To Know About Pitt-Jolie Divorce

He was on an important job with President Obama to resolve the 'global refugee crisis' at the United Nations, when it came as a bolt from the blue, learning about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce.

The news that took the whole entertainment industry, as well as the world in a shock was more astounding for the actor, filmmaker, and activist George Clooney who shares a very close and friendly relationship with both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

At the time of the 'Leaders Summit for Refugees' held at the United Nations, General Assembly Hall in New York, a reporter approached Clooney and asked him, "Alright, don't shoot me on this last question but you're friends with both of them. Any thoughts?"

In a moment of shock, Clooney replied by asking, "What's that? What's happened?"

However, after learning about the event, Clooney was left stunned as he came to know about his best friend's split for the first time.

"I didn't know that," he said. "I feel very sorry then. That's a sad story and unfortunate for a family. It's an unfortunate story about a family. I feel very sorry to hear that. That's the first I've heard of it." Added Clooney.
