A guy proposing to a girl for marriage is the usual norm that we all are aware of; however, not in Gwen Stefani's case!

The 46-year-old singer took matters into her own hands when her man Blake Shelton wasn't making any move in popping the question.

Stefani is so head over heels in love with the 39-year-old country singer and she hasn't been subtle about it! Her latest album 'This Is What The Truth Feels Like' is all about how Blake 'saved' her from her doomed life.

The two have gone public about their relationship, and Stefani's kids seem to be having a wonderful time with Blake as well. After being in a relationship since last year, Stefani felt that enough was enough and decided to ask Blake's hand in marriage!

She set up a romantic dinner date at her home and invited Blake over, and that's when she popped the question. Blake was shocked at first, but eventually said a yes! A source close to the singer told hollywoodlife.com.

Looks like we should be prepared for some wedding bells any time soon. Stefani's divorce with Gavin Rossdale isn't finalised yet, so there may be some delay in moving things forward, the report added.
