Jessica Alba Wants To Do Movies That Are Fun To Shoot

The Sin City actress now wants to pick and act in 'fun movies'. "Just wants to have fun", said Jessica Alba. The actress reveals that earlier she was very methodical in her approach in choosing a film and was very selective about her roles; however, now she would like to do movies that are fun to shoot.

"It's different because it's more like, 'Do you wanna go to Thailand and do a fun action movie with Jason Statham for 10 days?' And I was like, 'Cool, yeah, sure!' But it's less dramatic. I just did it and it's just not as serious for me." said the actress.

"Before, I was so methodical - I wanted to make sure that it was going to be on a global scale, any movie that I did, and that it was going to be a tentpole franchise and all this stuff. And now, I just want to have fun!" the actress added.

Jessica Alba also opened up regarding her acting as a career in Hollywood, and she believes it is just like a business and she has no control over its destiny.

"I weirdly always approached Hollywood like a business, but now I have an actual business to put that mindset to. For me as an actress in Hollywood, I was never in control of the marketing, the distribution, the final cut, the edit and so so much of my life was in someone else's hands."

"So it was quite frustrating because I like to control things, so to try and control my destiny as an actress...I wasn't able to", said Jessica.
