Kate Winslet Was Bullied For Being Chubby In Her Younger Days

Actress Kate Winslet, who had shot to fame with the classic hit Titanic opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, was once considered the most beautiful actress in Hollywood. But even she faced a lot of criticism and had been bullied for being chubby in her younger days.

The 40-year-old star shares that she was not liked by all always, but she is now happy that she could manage to take revenge on those by establishing herself among the top actresses in Hollywood and having a satisfying and successful acting career.

"I was kind of bullied when I was younger, actually at school. For being chubby (or), you know, I had girls who were envious of me because I was acting a little bit as a teenager," Winslet said.

Winslet also added that she now managed to take a sort of revenge on those people, who had once turned their back at her and who made fun of her in her earlier days. She is now satisfied to have a "really happy life".

"This is my revenge. Right here, this lovely career I have been blessed with. I have healthy children. You know, I have a really happy life and, to me, it's like, 'Well, look at me now girls'." Kate added.
