Renowned
Hollywood
actress
Gemma
Arterton
states
that
she
heeds
no
importance
on
the
way
she
looks.
She
says,
looks
are
not
an
important
aspect
to
her
and
she
has
never
tried
to
portray
it
as
a
quality,
unlike
others
in
the
industry.
The
30-year-old
actress
has
so
far
worked
in
a
diverse
arena
of
arts
starting
from
the
stage
theaters
to
Hollywood
movies.
But
the
actress
never
felt
that
she
should
pay
importance
to
her
looks
or
body.
Gemma
Arterton
has
been
nominated
for
the
prestigious
'Laurence
Olivier
Award'
in
Best
Actress
category
for
her
leading
role
in
the
stage
drama,
Nell
Gwynn
earlier
this
year.
However,
the
actress
says
the
importance
of
looks
significantly
varies
across
both
the
platforms,compared
to
the
screens.
"Look,
I
trained
for
six
years,
I
started
out
in
the
theater
where,
if
you're
good
for
the
role,
you
get
the
part.
I
don't
think
I
ever
heard
of
anyone
being
hired
because
of
their
looks,
which
is
very
different
from
the
movie
industry," Gemma
said
in
a
statement.
"Some
producers
and
directors
care,
some
don't.
And
I
now
choose
to
work
with
those
who
don't.
Frankly,
I
don't
care
how
I
look.
I
don't
want
my
face
or
body
considered
in
that
way"
Gemma
added
further.
